Here's Your English
Help Resource Center!

So...let me guess you need English help for your home school student. No fear! Help is only a click away!

Remember the "old days" when you sat in English class wishing someone would help you with your work? Now you're a home school parent. Try to think what your child is going through right now...

Learning about the exciting world of gerunds, participles, split infinitives, verbs, nouns (you get the picture...)

Dealing with reading stories produced by dead guys (and girls) who wrote florid prose and incomprehensible poetry...

Experiencing the really cool realm of writing mechanics (yuck!)

OK, OK...you probably already understand that something has to be done. That's why we've created these English help pages. But maybe you're asking yourself the question...

"Why is English so important?"

And we have to respond to that...

"That's an excellent question! We have a great answer!"

For most of us, English is the primary language we speak. It's the way we communicate...both spoken and written language. We use it to interact with people in a close and personal way. And because we use it in social and business situations every day, people judge us by what we say...how we use language. That's just the way it is.

It's been proven over and over that those who master language have an advantage over those who fail to learn. Those who learn to write and speak properly have a greater chance to succeed. And I have to venture a guess that, since you're home schooling, you want the best for your children.

So we've created this section to help you do just that...

...teach your child how to properly use the English language in their studies and in their lives.

We've geared these help pages toward home school parents. But these English hints can be used by students and even classroom teachers as well. We've tried to make these pages as flexible as we can.

So...enough said! Jump right in by clicking on the links below. There's a world of English help just waiting to be discovered!
